The controversial CMBYN star has broken his social media silence after sexual misconduct and cannibalism accusations.
Armie Hammer has made his official return to social media.
The embattled actor posted on Instagram, breaking a long silence. The post shows the inside of a moving train where a laptop is playing a video of a man running beside a horse.
Hammer was a fairly beloved actor, at least in gay circles, known for starring as Oliver in the 2017 gay romantic, coming-of-age drama Call Me by Your Name, directed by out director Luca Guadagnino and co-starring a still up-and-coming Timothée Chalamet.
But all of that fanfare came crashing down in early 2021 when several women accused him of sexually harassing them and having violent sexual fantasies that included cannibalism.
Several people have shared screenshots of texts and direct messages sent by Hammer on social media that detailed his sexual fantasies and dirty talk. The texts include talking about wanting to do things like “breaking your bones,” “cut a piece of your skin off and make you cook it for me,” and “I want to see your brain, your blood, your organs, every part of you,” and “I need your blood. I want you to feed me with it.”
He was also accused of raping a woman in 2017.
